Improve Campus Awareness With AI-Powered CCTV Alerts.
Most school cameras are watched only after something has gone wrong. CamBrain AI watches the places that matter at the times that matter — the terrace at night, the lab after school, the tank, the gate at dismissal — and tells the warden or security officer while there is still time to walk over.
Simulated illustration, not real footage: what each detection checks and the alert it raises.
The problem
What you are up against.
The places schools worry about are the ones nobody watches
Terraces, water tanks, labs and back corridors are covered by cameras that record to an NVR in the office. Nobody is looking at them at 10:30 at night.
A guard cannot watch forty screens
Even a staffed control room misses most of what is on the wall. An alert that says which camera, and when, is what makes the cameras useful.
Parents and managements want places watched, not children
The school profile watches zones and schedules. It does not identify, name or follow any child.
What CamBrain AI can alert on
Use cases, with their readiness.
9 need site setup. Labels come from the product's capability register.
What the labels mean.
Simulation Watch larger
Rooftop access after hours
Site setup required
“Someone goes up to the school terrace at 10:30 PM.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A person enters the rooftop zone drawn on that camera, outside the hours you set.
Who gets the alert
The warden on duty, with the camera, time and a snapshot.
What happens next
The warden checks the footage and responds according to school policy.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Restricted laboratory entry
Site setup required
“The chemistry lab door opens on a Sunday afternoon.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A person is detected inside the lab zone outside its permitted schedule.
Who gets the alert
The lab in-charge and the security desk.
What happens next
Staff review the clip and decide whether anyone needs to go and check.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, the hours it applies, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Hostel restricted-area entry
Site setup required
“Someone walks into the hostel's staff-only wing at 1 AM.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A person is present in a designated hostel zone during hours it should be empty.
Who gets the alert
Authorised hostel security staff.
What happens next
Security looks at the clip and follows the hostel's procedure.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, the hours it applies, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Pool, pond or water-tank access
Site setup required
“A student is near the overhead water tank during the lunch break.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A person enters the zone drawn around the pool, pond or tank.
Who gets the alert
The staff member responsible for that area.
What happens next
They check the live view and go over if needed.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Blocked corridor or emergency exit
Site setup required
“Benches stacked for an event are left in front of a fire exit.”
What CamBrain AI detects
Something stays in a corridor or exit zone longer than the time you set.
Who gets the alert
The estate manager or caretaker.
What happens next
The exit is cleared; the camera looks again before the alert is closed.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Crowd buildup during dismissal
Site setup required
“The main staircase packs up when four classes are let out together.”
What CamBrain AI detects
The number of people in the stairwell or corridor zone passes the threshold you set.
Who gets the alert
Campus security and the duty teachers.
What happens next
Staff stagger the release or open another route.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Vehicle moving too fast on campus
Site setup required
“A van speeds up the school driveway during drop-off.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A vehicle's speed through a measured stretch passes the limit you set.
Who gets the alert
The transport in-charge or gate security.
What happens next
The driver is spoken to, using the clip.
Speed is reported only on cameras whose height and tilt have been measured.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, the camera's mounting height and tilt, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Person near a moving vehicle
Site setup required
“A child walks behind a reversing car in the pickup bay.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A person on foot comes within a set distance of a moving vehicle.
Who gets the alert
Gate security and the transport in-charge.
What happens next
Staff review the moment and adjust the pickup layout if it keeps happening.
Raised only where distance on that camera has been calibrated and tested.
Needs the camera's mounting height and tilt, then testing on your footage.
Simulation Watch larger
Animal on campus
Site setup required
“A stray dog wanders onto the playground before assembly.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A dog, cow or other animal is detected and stays in a monitored area.
Who gets the alert
The security guard on duty.
What happens next
The guard moves the animal out before children arrive.
Runs in production today; not yet measured on a held-out set, so it is measured on your cameras first.
Simulation Watch larger
After-hours presence
Site setup required
“Lights are off, the campus is locked, and someone is in the admin block.”
What CamBrain AI detects
A person is detected in a designated area outside its operating schedule.
Who gets the alert
The security supervisor.
What happens next
The supervisor checks the footage and decides whether to send someone.
Needs a zone drawn on your camera, the hours it applies, then testing on your footage.
When an alert fires
Who is told, and what they see.
Who receives it
The warden, the security supervisor or the duty teacher you name for each area and time — on their phone, and on the security desk screen.
What the alert contains
Which camera and area
The time it started
A snapshot and a short clip
What was detected, in plain words
What they can do
Open the live view or the clip, acknowledge it, and
close it when it is dealt with. Alerts that a fix has been made are checked by the camera before
they close. The decision is always a person's.
Technical conditions
What your cameras need.
Cameras that already see the terrace door, the tank, the lab corridor and the gate. Night coverage needs working IR or lighting. Speed and distance checks need the camera's height and tilt measured once.
Emotion, attention, uniform or 'behaviour' checks on children
Cameras inside bedrooms, bathrooms or changing rooms
Following children from camera to camera
Predicting violence, intent or who is 'dangerous'
Questions
Frequently asked.
Does CamBrain AI identify students?
No. The school profile watches places and times — a zone, a schedule, a count. It does not recognise faces or follow any child between cameras. Residential schools may, with parents' written consent, choose attendance at named checkpoints; that option is in development and is never switched on for day schools.
Can it prevent accidents?
No system can promise that. CamBrain AI tells a named person that something is happening in a place you care about, with the camera and time, so they can decide what to do. The decision stays with your staff.
Do we need new cameras?
Usually not. We check your existing cameras first. Some areas may need a camera moved, better night lighting, or a camera added where none sees the place.
Who sees the footage?
Only the staff you authorise, by role. Every view of recorded footage is logged against a named user.
See it on your own cameras.
